Google Image

1) Will it rain whole day? - by whole day I mean like for more than 15 mins at a stretch

2) When it rains heavily for more than 20 minutes - Oh My God! (Janice Style from F.R.I.E.N.D.S) its a rebirth of 26th July (Historic Mumbai floods of 2005)

3) Okay! bhajjiyas and pakodas I am coming for you... Bhuttas beware!

4) Enough with the thunder and lightning, send some showers please

5) Is it morning already? I just slept 5 mins ago - why do I need to live?!

6) Yeah the weather is cool for once, but its so freaking wet everywhere

7) Its the weekend without plans - let it rain let it rain let it rain

8) Which clothes I dun mind ruining?

9) When it just starts drizzling in the 2nd half of a work day - Should I leave early?

10) Where are those cheeky bollywood rain songs :P

11) I hope it rains when I am at Marine Drive

12) Tapri Chai is life!

13) Is it acceptable to jump in a puddle or is there an age limit for that?

14) If I am bored while traveling - I will check out everyone's umbrella designs

15) Do I need a lipstick that screams "monsoons" (Okay... I have this thought for all seasons)

Happy Monsoons

Lotus Professional Phyto-Rx Whitening & Brightening Serum Review

I have always liked a good Lotus product every now and then. Sometime during the start of winters I decided to include serums in my skincare routine, now a dry skin baby like me needs to think a couple of times before adding something new to my skincare routine so as to not further dry my skin and that too in winters. I started using the  Lotus Professional Phyto-Rx Whitening & Brightening Serum from December last year and I was using it on alternate days and night, as I do not believe using something new regularly just to see how my skin is reacting in the first few days. I picked this product from the Nykaa winter sale and managed to get a good discount as well. The MRP is INR 545 for 30ml and usually you do end up getting discount of 20-25% on Nykaa. Though, it is not a super pricey product, discounts always help while purchasing a "never tried before" product. I was waiting to use it for a month or so, before I could share my two cents on it. Now abou...

VLCC Pista Massage Cream Review

For good number of years, I have been using the facial kits by VLCC, it is a good last minute self-facial treat and does the job of putting up a sublime glow to your face without spending an hour or two at the salon. I thought to give this product   a try , as I was looking for a massage cream, which I can include in my weekend pamper sessions. I did not want a high-end brand or an expensive product because sometimes I just like a simple scrub, face wash, face pack combination of pamper sesh' for my face and thats it! About the packaging and price It is a 50g massage cream which retails for Rs. 260/-. It is not a new product by VLCC and has been in the market for a while. It comes in a plastic jar and is well sealed. In terms of packaging it is nothing fancy and it has a plastic covering with all the details of the ingredients, price, expiry date and method of usage.  About the product and usage The cream is green in color and has a slightl...

Things I Am Loving Lately...

Google Image Since, it is a month of love and things related to love, I thought why not throw in a post about things I've been loving lately... Well, I know the whole buzz about Valentines' Day and all the days preceding to it are not so much related about loving "things", so much as loving a person or people or even yourself. But, I am no expert on the subject to write anything lovey-dovey, so I will do what I think I know best, talk about things I have loved recently. Reading I won't classify myself to be a voracious reader or anything close to that, but every now and then, I enjoy a good book. Reading is a great way to realize how simple life can be, without all the complexities of the wifi and social media. I read a book by Sudha Murty - Wise And Otherwise, it was a good start to begin my reading game again, as it is a compilation of 51 short stories, mostly based on her experience and observations about day to day life. I am currently readin...
