It was an impulsive decision to get started but I was glad it was one thing I actually held onto and completed it. It helped me view from a different angle of life, to notice the smaller and simpler things that happens in life. Working On My Reading Game!

How is it even June so early?! This year, my reading game has been so poor, I must admit that I have a huge pile of books that need some reading, which I did not, as I was busy binge-watching TV series and Youtube.  I have read a couple of books this year so far, but mostly on my phone which sucks, I really do not enjoy reading books on an electronic device - but those books were something I did not want to own so... Some of them were: - The Bastard of Istanbul by Elif Shafak (I own this one) - Orange is the new black by Piper Kerman (ditched it mid way - found the tv series better) - The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo (some tips were fine) - The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman (Easy read - read it in a day - good one) - You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay (Obsessed! Easy read and quite inspirational) - The Secret by Rhonda Byrne (Heard so much about this one - I had to read it - Again inspirational) - The Magic by Rhonda Byrne (S

5 Things I Did Differently Last Month (and you should do it too!)

Well, more than a month without a post, am I a shitty blogger already!? :P Well to all that I did differently, more than a month ago now. Started a social media challenge  Obviously the most hyped one was on top of my list which is the #100daysofhappy challenge - As I write this post I am on day 34 and I am doing okay! Dear Woman... You are Enough

Google Image There is a constant reminder we need to give ourselves that we are enough. We do not need anyone to berate us or elevate us just because we are women, to realize our worth. We women have this crazy habit of multi-tasking and trying to please everyone for a lil' appreciation, may be a nod or to feel important, we need to stop that and just enjoy to the fullest and believe we are enough.  We often feel guilty for not being the perfect daughter, perfect sister, perfect friend, perfect girlfriend, perfect wife, perfect daughter in law, perfect mom, perfect employee and so on. Who fed this thought to us that we are born to be masterpieces, we were born to play multiple roles and enjoy them and not to constantly compare and evaluate how well we are doing. Though, it is human nature to strive and be better versions of ourselves each day - there is still no hard and fast rule that we ought to be perfect. We are perfect in our own uniqueness and we are doing

Pondicherry - 72 Hours of Blissfulness

So, yeah, its 2017! and nearly March, Where have I been?!  First of, Happy New Year, Guys!!! 💗 Today's post is all about the "Wow  of Pondicherry" Google Image What a place, I must say! Travelling to Pondicherry was a sudden plan around Christmas time last year and truly a trip that touched my mind, body and soul.  Some places are like that, you do not hear a lot of people talk about it but thats' exactly where the hidden gems lie. My husband and I packed our suitcase and flew to Pondicherry hoping for a few days of calm and quiet right before the Christmas hustle bustle and yes thats what we beautifully experienced there. We stayed at this hotel which by all means had great love for wide open spaces and greenery all around. The trip started with the first day relaxing at our hotel which gave us a great introduction of how serene the whole place would be, the crisp countryside kinda air, picturesque French goodness and the delectable Pondy cuisine.
