A Marks & Spencer Beauty: Mini Perfume Haul

I am all into miniatures these days and when I saw these beauties, I had to dig in. I have never been a perfume purchase person, as mostly they were gifted to me. I love a real good mist and was quite committed to Bath & Body Works and The Body Shop ones for a long time now so I decided lets switch that up and that is when I found these lil' devils and whats better than carrying these dinky yet amazing perfumes around for a spritz! There was an ample collection in all different sizes and notes, I am sure there is something for everyone. I was looking for an everyday type of a scent, so I picked up a day scent, an evening scent and a floral scent.  Since they are so dinky and sturdy you can easily carry them in your smallest purses throughout the day. 1)  Marks & Spencer Beauty:  Lavender Eau De Toilette - This scent is from their floral collection, I never owned an ONLY lavender scent before, I sniffed it I loved it, it is a typical lavender subtle scent, yet...

Twenty Eighteen Is Here

Hello 2018,  I have never been so eager for a start of a new year since 2000! (Millennium and all) I hope you all had an amazingly wonderful festive period. I am all about the new beginnings and fresh starts which new year promises in a big way. There is nothing extraordinary about 2018 like travel, big new purchases, planned activities - NADA! nothing at all... that is what I am absolutely chuffed about, for the very first time, in a very long time I am excited for the new beginnings. 2017 taught me a lot - some things in a big way, some small but important ways - I know for sure I am a different person ready to make the most of life (yeah yeah I get it, its not the new year new me bullshit). I just think I have adulted enough to start living my life in an incredible manner and don't give two hoots about things I have no control on! - pulling out the big guns here, I am a control freak, remember? I am not the resolution kinda gal, some short term goals an...

Five Highlights Of 2017!

Like really? where did 2017 go??? Well, this happens every year, one moment you are at the countdown of 3 2 1 ---- Happy New Year!!! and post couple of blinks you are at the seasons of sweaters and countdown to New Year again!!!  Now to the 2017 Highlights!!! This was the year I started the Social Media Challenge #100daysofhappiness on      Instagram  - life and perspective changing. It was an impulsive decision to get started but I was glad it was one thing I actually held onto and completed it. It helped me view from a different angle of life, to notice the smaller and simpler things that happens in life. It kept me mindful of the things happening around me which I reckon as so important given the fast paced lives we all live in. Totally digging on a life changing hack - "Law of Attraction"   - Well, one doesn't become a pro on such things over-night as it is a law and it requires a lot of accepting and practicing to really say that...

Working On My Reading Game!

How is it even June so early?! This year, my reading game has been so poor, I must admit that I have a huge pile of books that need some reading, which I did not, as I was busy binge-watching TV series and Youtube.  I have read a couple of books this year so far, but mostly on my phone which sucks, I really do not enjoy reading books on an electronic device - but those books were something I did not want to own so... Some of them were: - The Bastard of Istanbul by Elif Shafak (I own this one) - Orange is the new black by Piper Kerman (ditched it mid way - found the tv series better) - The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo (some tips were fine) - The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman (Easy read - read it in a day - good one) - You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay (Obsessed! Easy read and quite inspirational) - The Secret by Rhonda Byrne (Heard so much about this one - I had to read it - Again inspirational) - The Magic by Rhonda Byrn...

5 Things I Did Differently Last Month (and you should do it too!)

Well, more than a month without a post, am I a shitty blogger already!? :P Well to all that I did differently, more than a month ago now. Started a social media challenge  Obviously the most hyped one was on top of my list which is the #100daysofhappy challenge - As I write this post I am on day 34 and I am doing okay! I accidentally came across this challenge on Instagram and my impulsive nature made me to do it - ofcourse ;) Since I am still in the early days of this challenge I won't brag that "Oh, that changed my life and blah blah" but it has certainly made me more observant of the little things that actually make me happy on a daily basis. These things were always there but as ignorant as we humans are, we often need to make a conscious effort to notice them and say, "Oh! that actually is so nice and makes me happy."  Met friends from school and college As I grew older, I was more than worried than I will never be able to relive my...
